The “Heart Wall”

When you’ve been through a lot and have built many layers to protect your heart.

During times of emotional pain or distress, your heart may feel broken which is where the term “heartache“ or “broken heart” comes from. In his book Dr. Nelson proposes that the subconscious creates an energetic wall called the” Heart Wall” to protect the heart from pain. Your subconscious then uses trapped emotions you have experienced throughout your lifetime to create this protective wall. The job of your subconscious is to protect your heart from further pain by adding more emotional layers around your heart. The heart wall although it wants to protect you, can also hurt you. Being emotionally isolated is like living in you own prison. The problem with having a heart wall is that it doesn’t dissolve on its own even if you no longer need it. You could even end up with heart problems down the road.

We all have a “heart wall “from our past traumas and negative experiences. If you’ve ever felt rejection or some form of grief chances are your subconscious is still trying to protect your heart from further heartache. The “heart wall “is equivalent to an onion. Each layer that is released brings us closer to the core (the heart)of your being. Releasing the heart wall allows you to live your life from authenticity, experience true love, improve your relationships and unlock abundance. Not only can we heal those but we can break the emotional cycle so that our future generations do not have to carry our emotional baggage.
